The site is a presentation of much of my work during University. It presents the skills i have
gained, which obviously I am looking to sharpen and develop.
The work involves a wide range of skills, from producing masterplans, rendered visualisations, landscape design statements, technical construction drawings, Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIA). Producing all these, and most importantly gaining an understanding of the process, from a project start, development to completion, insuring a successful future alongside the community around it.
From establishing a starting point and understanding what the client wants, grasping specific qualities of a place; its physical, historic, economic and cultural realities. Then, moving onto the development of an informed concept, project opportunities, spatial arrangement, developing a sensitive yet exciting planting and material palette. Projects within the portfolio then present examples of Visuals, masterplans and construction detailing’s that have grown through the planning and conceptual stages. Their form and character defined by the early stages. This producing outcomes that will not only work in a cohersive way, but have factored in the community, sustainability and wider context, ensuring the succcess for the future.
